2004-2005 Officers: Suzannie Foster - President Danielle Baker - Vice President Gina Praytor - Secretary/Treasurer SHES PTO sponsers two fundraiser each school year. Our largest and most profitable is our fall fundraiser, which consists of candy, wrapping paper and other odd and end gift items being sold. PTO profited $15,527.50 on this past falls fundraiser. Our other fundraiser is the sale of field day t-shirts for each grade. PTO has just recently wrapped up the sale of the t-shirts so the totla numbers are not in as of yet. Early indications show we had a very good sale! PTO uses the money we raise for various projects. Listed below are some of the ways this years money has been spent. **Updating AR books for the entire school(this is the "Big" project PTO is funding this school year). $6000.00 is being donated to complete this project. **Donatiing $300.00 to each grade to help with their field trips for this year. **Donating $100.00 to each teacher to use in their classroom for items not covered by the state(example: candy treats for students, cart projects, etc.) These are some of hte ways PTo allocates the money raised. PTO always welcomes volunteers to help with various projects throughout the school year. Anyone interested in volunterring may let their childs teacher or the office know and they will be happy to pass your name and number along to one of the officers. |
